Jeanine Talento, E-RYT 500, is a Trauma & Nervous System Educator, Yoga Teacher Trainer, Somatic Arts Facilitator & passionate writer.

Jeanine received her B.S in Psychology and Communications from CUNY Queens College in New York City in 2013 and has 3000+ hours of Trauma Informed Training. Jeanine started facilitating Yoga Teacher Trainings and Somatic courses in 2015 and has since dedicated her life to sharing and studying this necessary and paradigm shifting work.

Jeanine believes in the power of healing through reclaiming the body as the central space through which we process and experience our lives. Through nervous system education, somatic curiosity and embracing vulnerability, individuals can learn to revere and celebrate all parts of who they are, thus living more full and vibrant lives. Jeanine uses a multidisciplinary approach to body-based interventions that gradually guide her clients to orient towards feelings of safety and regulation within their physical form.

Jeanine is committed to her on-going development as a teacher, space holder, and human being. Jeanine completed the year long graduate level program Compassionate Inquiry with Dr. Gabor Mate, six-month Introduction to Internal Family Systems with Dick Schwartz, a year-long Certificate in Contemplative Psychotherapy at The Nalanda Institute, and an Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy Certification through The Embody Lab with Arielle Schwartz and Dr. Scott Lyons.

In 2019, Jeanine founded the Trauma-Informed sect of School Yoga Institute.

In 2022, Jeanine co-founded the Somatic Arts Facilitator Training with Nichole Ferro and The Somatic Arts Academy.
